“Hazzy was most patient with me when I needed extra time to sort out wife’s license to be second driver ( better to get DVLA code prior to visit). Was phoned to pick up car earlier due to closure on day of HM QE2’s funeral and they didn’t charge me for the additional 2 days! Return of car was easy and offered a ride back. Because of the gift for 2 more days I opted to pay extra to zero the insurance excess and buy fuel from them ( return car near empty tank). All in all very pleasant experience.
Since then, I had rented from Arnold Clark three times within a span of 7 months in 2024. Each occasion I was supplied vehicles in immaculate conditions, almost new, mechanically sound ( BMW twice and Nissan once ) staff from registration to the bus driver sending me to train station were all warm and efficient.
Only problem: vehicle GPS maps need updating. The BMW 3 estate took me to a dead end and Nissan guided me into bus/taxi only roads in Aberdeen! Still need Google map as backup.

“Firstly for young drivers like myself the price is just standout better than what any of the competitors are offering, I think ours worked out at around half what the likes of Hertz and Europcar offered because they had young driver fees of around £50 per day minimum.
The whole process was incredibly stress free, we got a quote through very quickly and didn’t need to pay until a few days before the hire started, then picking up and dropping off the car were also very simple, previously with other companies there’s been such a paperwork hassle but we were able to get on the road very quickly and easily.
Finally the actual car itself was great, we found out we’d been upgraded to a BMW a couple of days before which was a nice surprise. The car seemed brand new and was in perfect condition and this also meant it was very efficient so we didn’t spend nearly as much on fuel as I thought we might. We also received the deposit back in full very shortly after returning the car.

“We had a very accommodating and friendly experience with the Atlas team. We were given a detailed lesson on the motorhome systems which was very helpful. We were also give excellent advice on the best roads to take to our destination to avoid the larger vehicles on narrow roads.
We were given a brand new motorhome that exceeded our expectations as it was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable for us and easy to drive.
All cooking and cleaning accessories were provided by atlas with us hiring mounting bikes and camping chairs as an extra.
We highly recommend Atlas for your next adventure through the Scottish Islands and highlands. All camping sites we visited are fully equipped for the motorhome. Just a quick note on the campsites! We did not realise until our last campsite that Atlas is registered with the camping and caravan club so you can get a discount on camping fees.
This was an amazing experience for us.
