Locked In Escape Room Glasgow has five themed rooms, each lasting 60 minutes plus 15 minutes for instructions. Each room has age restrictions, like “The Surgery” for ages 16+ and “Glasgow School of Magic,” suitable for ages 10+ with an adult.
I tried “Bitter Sweet,” a neon-lit room for ages 14+ (or younger with an adult), and found it both engaging and straightforward. The goal is to break a witch’s curse to free trapped souls, with puzzles suited for beginner to intermediate players in teams of 2–4.
Bookings are private and must be made online, as each room is reserved solely for your group. Larger groups can book two rooms with start times 15 minutes apart, so everyone can start together.

We tried the “Agent-X” mission, where we had to recover a stolen diamond from a mafia safehouse. The puzzles were tricky but rewarding, and the team had to think on their feet to solve them before time ran out.
Games typically last 60 minutes, with one option extending to 90 minutes. Additionally, the rooms can accommodate 2 to 7 players, and larger groups can book multiple rooms.

We took on the Alcatraz room, which is best for groups of at least four and has a 5/5 difficulty rating. It was much larger and more complex than we expected, with well-thought-out puzzles and a creative design.
Escape Reality also caters to corporate and private events, with rooms that can accommodate teams of 2-6 players.
Pro Tip:
If you’re new to escape rooms, it’s a good idea to try a room with a lower difficulty level first. Their staff are happy to offer guidance on which room might be best suited to your group’s experience level.
